Log Onto Coinbase
The first step to setting up your account is logging onto Coinbase.
Rather than just signing up directly on their website make sure you use my referral link located here.
This way once you make your first purchase of $100 or more you will get an additional $10 worth of bitcoin free.
Once you have clicked the link it should look like the image below, it’s time to fill out some of your basic information.
Fill Out Your Personal Information
Please fill out your first and last name, your email address, and your password.
Make sure you write down both your email and password and store it in a safe place.
Once you write those down, click the box to indicate that you are not a robot and then click the box that you are 18 years or old and that you agree to the terms & conditions after you read them.
Once this is filled out and is accurate click the blue button “sign up”. You will be directed to the next page on the website where you will need to select the state that you live in, then hit submit.
Once you complete this Coinbase will send you a verification email to the email address you signed up with. You will need to open the email and click on the confirmation link.
Once you click the link in the email you will be redirected to the dashboard of Coinbase. If you scroll towards the bottom of the page you will see a yellow phone image that says “Add your phone number” click on this and then enter your cell phone number.
From now on each time you log on to Coinbase they will send you a text message with a unique code (7 digit code), you will need to enter that in to sign on. This is great for security purpose and protect your account.
This code will change each and every time you login, so don’t worry about saving it.
Once the new window opens up you will have to fill out a little more information about yourself.
This includes your address, last four of your social security, employment and phone number.

To set up your bank account make sure you are in the dashboard tab, scroll towards the bottom of the page and fine where it says “Bank Account”.
Click the bank account you will be asked to select your banks name, examples (Chase, TD Bank, Wells Fargo).
Find your bank and select it, next you will have to connect your bank account to Coinbase, you can do this by entering the email address and password associated to your bank account online.
Coinbase will then be able to find your checking or savings account select which ever one you have money in and connect it.
Coinbase Needs A Little More Information From You
Once your payment method has been set up you will want to fill out some more information to verify your account.
This includes your address, last four of your social security, employment, date of birth and some other basic information.
To add this information go to the “Settings” tab and then click on “My profile” Both are highlighted below to show you exactly what to click on.
Once your are on the “My Profile” section scroll down a little bit and start filling out your information. Once it is complete and accurate hit the blue save button.
Verify Your Account/Increase Your Limits With An ID or Driver’s License
Coinbase used to make you upload your license or ID to verify your account, however, with the increase in user’s this was crashing their website.
The only time you will need to add your ID is if you want to increase your weekly bank limits (funding your account). Or If you want to increase your buying/selling power of the currencies.
This is another form of security that will protect your account from a potential hacker.
I verified with a driver’s license. You will need to take a picture or scan the front and the back of your driver’s license. If you use your phone take a picture and upload it right to Coinbase.
If you are using your laptop to set up your Coinbase account you can use your printer to scan the license or simply take the two pictures with your cell phone and then email the pictures to yourself.
Open the email and save the two images then you can simply upload them to the website.
Send Money From Your Bank To Coinbase
Now that your bank is linked to Coinbase and your account has been verified you will need to initiate a wire transfer.
Go to the Tab on Coinbase called “Accounts” once you click that you will see all your “wallets” BTC Wallet, BTC Vault, ETH Wallet, LTC Wallet and the USD Wallet.
Go to the USD wallet and click where it says “deposit”, this means you will deposit money from your bank account into Coinbase.
You will see your banks name and the last 4 digits of your bank account number; enter the desired amount of money you would like to invest.
Keep in mind to receive your additional $10 of bitcoin you will need to invest a minimum of $100.
Enter you amount like so $100.00 (using $100 as an example you can invest more if you would like to).
Hit continue and then you can review this deposit, if everything looks correct to you then hit the blue button “Confirm”.
Your money should be in the account in about 4–5 business days but they will give you a date when they expect it to be there usually 7 days out just to be safe.
You will get an email saying you started a deposit from your bank account into Coinbase, once your money is in the account you will get another email saying the money has arrived.
Now you have added the payment source you are ready to buy cryptocurrency! Click Buy/Sell in the navigation bar at the top.
You are now in the Buy/Sell screen which will default to buying cryptocurrency – Bitcoin, Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash (accepted by Newxly ) .
The process of purchase is the same for both. In this tutorial, we will be showing you how to buy Bitcoin.
You do not have to buy a whole Bitcoin (BTC). Most cryptocurrencies are divisible — for example, you can buy smaller amounts e.g. 0.0030 ETH.
Please be aware that due to the volatile nature of cryptocurrencies, if you buy Bitcoin or Ethereum today it may not be worth that tomorrow. It may be worth less and you’ll need to buy more to participate in the Verasity Token Sale. On the other hand, it might be worth more and you’ll have more to participate with.
Click Buy and Confirm Buy.
Congratulations! You have now bought your Ethereum and it will be stored in your Coinbase exchange wallet.
If you click Accounts, you’ll now be able to see your transaction and how much you have in your wallet.
In your Coinbase go to Accounts > BTC Wallet > Send
Newxly Payment page and CoinBase send BTC Windows
Please be sure that BTC Address and the Amount is the same as on the payment page. See the example. After you are sure that all the values are correct go click Continue. Your order is paid and soon will get your tracking number
